Week ending June 21, 2024 - Zero downy mildew detected in Chatham-Kent. 

Week ending June 28, 2024 - CDM was detected in 2 of the 5 fields involved in the program. In both fields, CDM symptoms were observed in "hotspots" with less than 1% leaf coverage.

Week ending July 5, 2024 - CDM was detected in 5 of the 5 fields involved in the program. In all fields, CDM symptoms were observed in "hotspots". 2 of 5 fields had hotspots with 1% or less leaf coverage and 3 of 5 fields had hotspots with 5% leaf coverage.

Week ending July 12, 2024 - CDM was detected in 5 of the 5 fields involved in the program. Incidence and severity of CDM symptoms have increased to varying degrees in 4 of 5 fields and remained stable in 1 field. Leaf area coverage is generally 1-5% with "hotspots" up to 10%.

Week ending July 19, 2024 - CDM was detected in 5 of the 5 fields involved in the program. Incidence and severity of CDM symptoms have increased in 1 of 5 fields and remained stable in the remaining 4 fields. Leaf area coverage is generally 1-5% with "hotspots" up to 10%. Growers have been contacted and notified.
