Decision - 2008 Cucumber Arbitration
The cucumber arbitration was conducted on April 17th. The decision of the arbitrator, B. Hovius, was made in favour of the processors. The price per ton will increase by 7 3/4% and the downy mildew spray programme premium will now be 5% rather than the 10% it was in 2007.

Minor Use Label - Bravo 500 Fungicide for Powdery Mildew
The Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently announced the approval of a minor use label expansion for BRAVO 500 FUNGICIDE for control of POWDERY MILDEW on field cucurbits, crop group 9 (which includes cucumbers, melons, squash, pumpkins and all other field cucurbits) in Canada.
