Bursary Program

The Ontario Processing Vegetable Industry Bursaries were established to support and encourage individuals pursuing a career in the processing vegetable industry who will further develop and grow this sector of Ontario’s agri-food economy.

Since its launch in 2001, the bursary program has provided $197,000 to deserving individuals pursuing a career in our industry.

Bursary Eligibility

Applicants must be a Canadian citizen and Ontario resident who is registered as a full-time student at an eligible college or university entering the second, third, fourth or post-graduate year of study which relates to the processing vegetable industry.

Bursary Application

The call for applications begins November 10, 2023 and the deadline for accepting applications is January 5, 2024.  Details and the application form are available by clicking HERE or by contacting the OPVG office via email at opvg@opvg.org
