2012 Carrot Agreement - Bonduelle/Campbells

Agreement has been reached with Bonduelle and Campbells for the 2012 crop of carrots for processing. Changes for 2012 include the following:

1) Price: Dicers: $90/ton ($86/ton in 2011)

Slicers: $119/ton ($113/ton in 2011)

2) Crowning Premium: The crowing premium for slicers increased by 1% to 15%.

3) Storage: Storage rates increased by $3/ton for the November 15 - December 31 period. All other periods increased by $2/ton.

4) Payment will be made by direct deposit.
